The story and screenplay felt stretched out, which made the pacing pretty dull at times. Honestly, you could cut out some scenes and characters, and it wouldn't even affect the main plot. It would've been way better if they trimmed things down to keep the momentum going. Some scenes dragged on way too long and just felt static-they could've been shorter to keep things snappier.
The acting was hit or miss. "Mama" was honestly pretty bad, and while Tawsif's acting wasn't terrible, he didn't really fit the role. He was supposed to play this "lost in his own world" type, but it didn't feel convincing at all. The show kept throwing mysteries and questions at you, which was cool, but it didn't bother answering any of them in the first season. Seems like they're saving everything for later seasons, which gets frustrating after a while.
There's definitely potential to dive into some characters' backstories, but the story they showed here could've been wrapped up nicely in 10-12 episodes instead of dragging it out. Plus, there were these small, annoying issues throughout that kept breaking the immersion.
That said, the core story and the creepy, mysterious vibe were pretty solid. It makes you wish they'd done a better job with this season because it had so much potential. Hopefully, they learn from this and deliver something tighter and more exciting next season-it could really turn into a great series.
