Was this a movie we needed? I don't know, however we got it. Denzel is such a good actor. I couldn't but help notice a lot of similarities to the Mel Gibson movie Ransom from 1996. At times I felt the movie to be slow but then speed up and then slow down again. The pace was a little off. There were some subtle jokes that had me laughing out loud. Over all I enjoyed the film but unfortunately nothing really new. It's a good I got time to kill kind of movie.
This was a fun and entertaining movie from start to finish. I really appreciated how the trailers didn't give too much away-they even left out a major character, which made for a great surprise while watching.
If you're a fan of The Karate Kid, you'll definitely enjoy this. It blends comedy with great timing, and the fight scenes are some of the best parts. You can totally tell Jackie Chan had a hand in the choreography-the action felt authentic and exciting.
Yes, it's a Karate Kid movie, so you can probably guess how things will end, but the journey there was still a blast. Ralph Macchio's character didn't necessarily need to be in the movie, but it was cool seeing him, and I hope they eventually bring both worlds together.
Honestly, the best part was the ending-especially if you're a fan of the Cobra Kai series. That final moment hit just right.

The F1 movie blends adrenaline-fueled action with an unexpectedly emotional core. Even if you're unfamiliar with the sport, the storytelling pulls you in with clear exposition and a genuine passion for the racing world.
Brad Pitt commands the screen with a grounded, charismatic performance. He adds depth to a character that could have easily been one-note. The racing cinematography is where the movie truly shines-fast, fluid, and immersive without relying too heavily on CGI.
While the story doesn't break new ground and a few beats are telegraphed early, the film's charm, pacing, and satisfying conclusion make it easy to overlook those flaws. This is a ride worth taking-whether you're a gearhead or not.
