I don't recognize the film that the nay-sayers are talking about at all. They all seem to be striving for recognition as critics, criticising for criticisms' sake.
Great cast and Noah is one talented youngster. His mastery of emotion belies his years. Someone said he had no acting ability but they are so, so wrong. He's supposed to be reserved but knowing. He's got a whole lot of stuff for a young boy to be coping with and Noah sure knows how to get that across. But, boy, when he pours on that emotion he really knows his business.
If you want a film to send a message or give a lesson in whatever it is floats your boat go see a documentary. If you want your films to be entertaining and gripping then this certainly fits the bill.
