I love Leanne's comedy shows and was really looking forward to this. I like the cast.... I was really wanting this to be great.
I watched two episodes, and I can't continue. The acting felt forced. The storyline was totally predictable. It's almost as if they dumbed down her brilliant stand up to make a buck or two.
I'm sure there's an audience for this, and I hope this show finds its audience. I'm just not part of that group.
I'll continue enjoying Leanne's stand up, though because she's funny as all get out.

Oxygen has lost its mind. They air a true crime series set in the United States south, which includes interviews of people who actually live in the south and speak like normal southerners do, then thy go and hire some British person who clearly used Blanche DuBois as inspiration for her God awful interpretation of southern drawl.
If the narrator were replaced, this would probably be a pretty decent true crime series. Otherwise, this show is completely unwatchable because of the ridiculously bad fake drawl which, quite frankly, most everyone in the southern United States will find absolutely find offensive and stupid.

Just....holy cow. This is quintessential Ryan Murphy. If you're expecting a procedural crime drama, leave. That's totally not what this is.
I'm 4 episodes in, and I'm appropriately confused and grossed out and perplexed and just gobsmacked...it's totally what I expect from Ryan Murphy. After the last 2 "what the crap" seasons of AHS, I am THRILLED to see RM back on track.
This will totally be a love it or hate it situation. I'm in the love it column. At first, before I saw where this story was going, I wasn't sure....but, man alive am I glad I stuck with it.
Ryan Murphy has combined religious horror with body horror with "oh no he didn't" horror with B movie kitsch with indie wierdness...it is definitely worth the watch.
Two thumbs up for me.
