A mixed bag episode. The story with Carol & Ash meeting the environmentalists was the best part of the episode. Melissa Mc Bride & Manish Dayal have a easy flowing chemistry & everything feels natural and finally Carol has arrived in France.

I took points of this episode because I dislike The Nest religious story, mainly because its boring, predictable & has been done many times in others shows & movies. And the characters involved in the story are either annoying, boring or have no character depth.

Daryl's story at The Nest & his relationships with Laurent & Isabelle are so artificial & forced. Its like watch paint dry. I hate when writers change characters to push a bad plot and this is what is happening with Daryl in this series.

Strong opening to the season showcasing Carol played by the amazing Melissa McBride, who is the best actress from TWD universe. The story is made for both old & new viewers with giving the audience a look at Carol's past. The story between new character Ash & Carol was compelling with both actors sharing natural chemistry. The only downside to the episode was the very clinched French story & the kid Laurent still annoying continuing TWDU neck of creating annoying children. And the Daryl story is very been there & got the shirt. He meets new characters bonds with them & you don't need to see the rest of the season to see what happens to Isabelle.

The episode starts strong and go hill soon after.

Maggie is back & I don't care, her feud with Negan is tired & boring to watch again. The writers have removed the characters brains for Maggie's stupid dangerous mission.

Huge plot hole with all the characters forgetting about the fishing community Oceanside. Who could help when with supplies & food.

Princess is a delight .
