Couldn't believe that Hallmark would spend all that time and money on a reality series to pick such a dreadful actor. Was it because Bennett had a crush on him that he won the role? What a disaster! I am a huge fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, but this one just dragged on and on. The lead role was played with no character development, and a lot of mugging and staged face shots. No real emotion came through. I wasn't moved in any way during this movie. I prefer movies that touch me, either by making me tear up or laugh. This one made me disappointed in the worst way. Sorry, I can't believe he is worth watching. I hope Finding Mr. Christmas 2 is better this year, and that the winner actually can act.
Why do Hannah and Chad act like they've never talked to each other before, when they went on a date at the end of "A Sprinkle of Deceit?" It seems the continuity between episodes is lacking here.
Also, why make Hannah's mother into a psuedo-private eye? It doesn't work...it just makes the series more gimmicky and less palatable. I stopped counting how many times I rolled my eyes through this one and the prior two movies.
And what happened to the sister who is married to a cop? They usually give her at least some quick screen time.
Why the change in bakery location? Does it add to anything? I think not.
Sorry...I think they are running out of ideas. Probably would do better if mom were written out of the script.

This show is awesome! I love to watch the creativity and imagination shown in the carvings done by the contestants. I wish I had these skills myself, but I am content watching othesr more skilled perforn the challenges. Where this show fails is that the host of the show is a Food Network star instead of someone who knows their stuff about carving pumpkins and sculpture. None of the hosts has really added any value to the experience. Please, bring in someone who has done pumpkin carving, like the judges have, who knows the medium and can add some interesting POV to the show. I'm sure there are plenty of them out there who have a nice personality and can host the show as well.
