This films so ridiculously bad with its cheesy PSA on Weed and "the dangers" but at the same time its so hilariously bad that you cant help but giggle and "enjoy" the film
Ive seen it a few times myself and eachtime i see it im...entertained more eachtime cause the film is so hilariously bad. I also get an odd...sense of enjoyment of getting realky really stoned and watching this film just for fun
As i said its a very very very bad movie cause all the PSA in is very dated now and honestly over exaggerated in some instances. Maybe thats why its enjoyable because its so over the top. Itd be no surprise to me if when they nade this film originally they where serious as a heart attack.
Its easily the worst in the series but that doesnt mean its a bad film. Still is enjoyable. My only gripe is how Max feels more like a supporting character in his own film. Its almpst as if when they made the script they where like "okay we need away to sell this film" i know let's add mad max into so its a mad max film and then we'll add Tina turner and go from there. Okay...not a bad idea but when he really is only ce tral for the first half of the film and the last half is the kids...idk. Its neet how its like a lost boys mixed with mad max story but just doesnt work necessarily as a mad max film. Especially considering how max isnt really in the film persay.. Tina turner was also a little eye rolling in the film. Again felt like she was added to sell the film. If you take mad max out of it the film still works. Ironically its kind of better if you do. But of course...
I recently found this and was quite impressed with it and the level of research put into John Wayne Gacy.
