So i decided to give this game a shot right after completing the first game which was a really great game with an amazing atmosphere, characters, weaponry and much more..but the second game-shadows of amn-is on a whole other level. This in my own humble opinion is one of the best video games to ever come out. The story, weaponry, characters, companions and even the side quests of this game are much much better than the first baldurs gate game. The world is amazing, you feel so small because theres so much to do, so much to explore, discover and play through which makes it so much fun. I have been playing this game for weeks and im still in shock with how im not even very close to finishing it still lol. I will admit though, the graphics and gameplay just like the first game dont hold up to todays standard of video games, the game is also very text heavy so if you dont mind reading through most of the dialogue than youll enjoy it so much more because what makes this game amazing as well is its dialogues, its really good. So i will end my review by saying this..give this game a chance, if you do itll be one of the best experiences of your life, the amount of passion they put into this is something you dont normally see anymore..this game is much more than just a mere rpg, it is an absolute masterpiece and im glad to say that its one of the best games i have ever played.

This game is much better than the original in my own opinion, has a lot of extra stuff from weaponry, characters and much more. What we need to understand is that this game is a remaster, and not a remake. A good game isnt about 3D graphics and modern video game standards, a good game is all about the amount of detail, care, and amount of passion put into it to make it a good video game. This game is amazing, from the amount of classes you can select from the beginning, the amount of characters you interact with, the amount of hours that can pass by when youre playing it lol...most video games today lack the amount of soul compared to what they did for this. Its a great game, but to enjoy this game you must look past the old school graphics and focus on what really makes this game one of the best rpgs of all time, give it a go, you wont have any regrets.

So i decided to give this game a chance after so many years of knowing about it, seeing it and having no interest in playing it..and then one day i thought..hmm, you know what, ill just give it a shot..and i have to say, it was one of the best decisions i have ever made. This game is phenomenal, the amount of detail, writing and care they put into this is simply out of this world. Yes the graphics are outdated, the gameplay doesnt hold up to todays standards of video games, but trust me if you look past all the negatives and focus on what really makes this game special, you wont care for any of that and you will appreciate the level of fun you probably wont experience from most video games that come out today lol. Try it out(the enhanced edition of course, not the original since it has more to deliver)..i hope you enjoy.
