This is an intriguing drama that includes the back story of unresolved family tensions and the history of that family dynasty in the horse breeding and racing industry. Hats off to Kate Watson, the fearless and self assured manager of the breeding and training facility. She is gracious, commanding, and totally in control of her character and this daunting business. Notable performances by her brother and mother convince us that family and business don't always align without struggle. Set in beautiful Kentucky, the sweeping images of genteel country life and the horses that dominate that landscape are wonderful.
This is an intense thriller with wonderful acting, especially by the lead character, Kate Watson. It offers a believable storyline, a cohesive cast, and it is beautifully shot. Also, it will keep you guessing until the end! There were both terrifying and reflective moments during the movie, artfully portrayed by the lead character, Margaret. There are plenty of close-ups and strong eye contact, so you feel almost like you are a part of the story. Lots of action and character development throughout the movie. Cohesive cast with believable relationships. Bravo to the cast and crew! Be sure not to miss it!
I really enjoyed this movie, which is a dark thriller. Consistently believable characters and good acting; the leading actress, Kate Watson, stands out in her honest, genuine portrayal of a recently divorced mother. This type of online dating fiasco happens frequently and the plot is based upon a true story, so it's completly believable. Bravo to cast and crew!
