When I ask myself what this documentary told me that I didn't already know, the answer is nothing except the guy who introduced Trump to Twitter.
Content wise it's average to say the most. What it makes clear is that the people who hate Trump the most still do not understand why they lost, and how phrases like fake news resonate with people so much.

I find it incredibly hard to buy in the logic that this is anti-war because Setsuko died a horrible death. None of the other Japanese in the film including the brother himself were malnourished to the point of no return. Setsuko died because of her brothers foolishness and stubbornness. No amount of melodrama is going to change that reality.
It's low budget and you can tell. But I like this small cast "free-ish location" thriftiness. The story line, cinematography and editing is surprisingly competent. I look forward to more feature length films from this director.
