This movie is total chaos, the type of film where characters disappear after they seem they are going to be important. Other characters suddenly start kicking butt when you think they are simply someone's mother and a comedy relief character! Strange plots going on, magical rocks, KGB agents and Cynthia Rothrock, yes please!
The story is just a bit too chaotic for this movie to get a higher score. It has some dude who does what the police cannot as he captures a guy I believe I saw in another movie like this. After this we see a kid get bullied, the dude, kid and his partner go to Greece and somehow end up getting a stone that talks to the kid. Watch out as fights break out randomly while characters come and go leading up to a showdown back in Greece!
The characters are likeable and that helps with the bizarre and at times incoherent plot. The fighting is quick and people look like they are being legitimately killed as they leap off balconies like it is no big deal! I think Cynthia is dubbed because when I watch her films here she sounds more squeaky and cute, here like in another film I saw from China, she sounds more posh.
So the film is not good in a traditional sense, but is in a crazy way. It is fast and fun, but the plot is so bad you have to deduct some points. However, this film is not boring in any way so I have to give it higher marks. So if you want to be a bit puzzled but see some really cool and fast fights, then give this one a shot!

Not really knowledgeable about Record of the Lodoss War, I am pretty sure it started as a tabletop RPG that I think was adapted into an anime. I think this is accurate; I also believe that it has been adapted into a videogame or two as it was here. So, why did I start by playing this game when I am not exactly a fan of the property? Easy, it's a Metroidvania! This style of games is a favorite of mine; granted it is not number one as that spot belongs to jrpg games. Still, there is something really fun bout a side view maze as you try to find your way through it, defeating enemies and gaining abilities and getting items that will help you traverse the trials.
The story has a lady named Deedlit awaking and kind of out of it. She encounters old friends and foes alike as she tries to unlock the mysteries of the maze. She even comes across Parm, the man she loves who beckons her deeper into the depths of the maze so that they may spend eternity together.
It plays really well at the same time being typical of this type of game with a weapon system straight from Symphony of the Night; and at times having its own quirks as you can switch between fire and ice which can really help you defeat later bosses. Once I got used to this, combat was a lot of fun.
So I enjoyed it; granted, it could have been longer, but that is the case with most Metroidvanias. I finished this one in just over eight hours on the clock, probably took longer cause I died, a lot. Symphony is still one of the best, if not the best and I liked the one the creator did that is just like a Castlevania but is not a lot. This one is good and enjoyable too, as it is nice to run through enemies with a chainsaw sometimes.

This film is one of those strange super hero films from Europe, I am not sure if it is based on anything, but as is often is the case with these superheroes the powers of Argoman are a bit all over the place. There is also Super Argo, who is a superhero wrestler who does a lot more in his film than this dude, but Argoman does have a way nicer home base. Argoman's powers stop for six hours after he has sex, but that did not play as big a part of this film as I was expecting. Not sure if they were going to do another film where it did play a prominent role, but here it is used only once and does not hinder our 'hero' all that much.
The story has a crown stolen, a warning from the queen of the world and the introduction of Argoman at his awesome house where he gets a sexy redhead driving a hovercraft by his oceanside manor. He boings her and loses his powers, but he is not even on the case. Soon he is as he got busy with the self proclaimed queen of the world! She wants a diamond that does stuff, not sure what as it is as clear as Argoman's powers.
The acting is typical for this type of film as it is a bit over the type and a bit goofy in places. The women look great, a scene with his friend in lingerie is awesome. Women definitely looked better back in the day than they do now and dressed better too. These days they dress in sweats and weigh more than Andre the giant riding carts around Walmart. Thank god for the internet, anime and Asian girls...
So I thought the movie was a fun watch despite its rather strange premise. Not much action mond you, but it makes up for it with pretty women, cool locations and just the fact it is not taking itself too seriously. I would rather watch this film than most of the Marvel films released since Endgame.
