Look, if your child loved the series they are going to love this! It's got all the characters from the original, plus a plethor of new ones. As a parent I like it because it's safe and wholesome, in a world of shows where it's lacking. Also I happen to be a huge Chris O'dowd fan, him as the narrator just works. He really does have a great voice. Again though, the biggest thing is you can put this, like the series on, and not have to worry if there is going to be something inappropriate snuck in. All in all is just a nice, calm, chill movie with some good lessons thrown in for good measure. Puffins Rock!
For the people that don't like or understand the show, I'm not sure what to tell you. From the goofiness of the jokes, to the crap talking to the teammates, the banter in the locker room, and to the love interest between Shoresy and Moore. This show really has it all! You will laugh, you will cry, you will laugh crying, but you will also grieve, and cheer with the whole team, whenever they succeed, or fail. Give Shoresy a chance. You will be glad you do!
To be honest I found this show after watching Letterkenny, and now can not go back to Letterkenny. This show is leaps and bounds beyond it!!

Growing pains is one of those shows that is just super easy to sit down and watch. It's really easy to fall in love with all the characters. Mike's schemes are always funny and teaching him a lesson in the end. Carol is always concentrating on school, but in the end learns that isn't all there is to life. Ben is just Ben, but awesome nonetheless. The best part is you grow with them as they grow. Well is you free up back then like I did.
