I really enjoyed this series and couldn't recommend it enough to my friends and family. I have always been a fan of Disney, but this series has allowed me to gain a whole new level of appreciation for Walt Disney, and the countless individuals who have poured their hearts and souls into their work to captivate, educate and inspire people! We love you Disney! Thank you!

As an individual who is fascinated by ancient history and mythology I had recently begun to read the novel "The Song of a Achilles" by Madeline Miller, an homage to the Iliad. Long story short, I loved the book and wanted to see some adaptations of it. I did some more research on the Iliad and ended up watching both Troy: Fall of a City and the 2004 Troy movie.
I can undoubtedly tell you I enjoyed this show SIGNIFICANTLY more than the 2004 movie, and am convinced the negative reviewers are close-minded hateful fools. This show does a wonderful job in developing each character and telling the fascinating story of the Iliad. I thoroughly enjoyed this series (binging it in two days) and couldn't stop telling my friends to watch it. The set and costume design is fantastic and the story is well told! Unlike the movie Troy... Patroclus is not Achilles cousin!!! Also, the movie COMPLETELY left out all the mythological elements of the Iliad... Thus leaving out a major parts of the story!
I learned a great deal from this show and at the end of it I was left wanting more!
TL;DR: The show is well done and accurately written. I enjoyed it a lot and would 100% recommend it!
