I read the reviews and got very confused, either it was pathetic or very good. Decided to see for my self; and boy it was good. It was made with fine detailing and real challenges the soldiers face in real world scenarios. I guess the people who gave a 1 or 2 star were hoping something like a superhero Avenger like action and wit. But that's not happens really, isn't it. I would give it a 7/10. But giving 10, so that it's rating gets a boost, because it definitely did not, does absolutely not deserve a 1, or 2 or even 3 or 4. Good job! You wil not regret, go for it.
I am so disappointed with this movie. Vidhu Vinod chopra has so tried to white wash everything and make it a politically correct movie. It looks like his fear of controversy and being tagged as a Hindu Fanatic has made him completely bypassed what actually happened to Kashmiri Pandits. As a filmmaker and a Kashmiri Pandit himself, it was his responsibility to show the truth to the world, convey the pain of Kashmiri Pandits. But what he did was taking advantage of countries current scenario and earn bucks. If James Cameron came to know that he has completely hidden the trauma they went through, he would review it differently. If I am so disappointed, I can't imagine how the grief stricken Kashmiri Pandits would be.
