  • Wouldn't watch it again

The idea of the plot is kind of nice. But too many scenes feel too forced. The movie has no real flow. Yes, sometimes you laugh but fir my taste the line between funny and stupid is crossed too many times. Many things are illogical even considering the kind if magic that's happening. The outcome is very predictable and just because it has a good message attached to it, it doesn't make up for that lack of character development.

  • Nice christian family entertainment

We enjoed this movie as a family. The plot is quite clichéd and esay to forsee. But the acting is good and there is some nice slapstick dialogue and a good natured humor which - if you are familiar with church culture - makes you laugh about yourself/your church culture in a refreshing way. It is a clearly faith based film centred around the message of love, forgiveness, grace and getting a second chance. Entertaining and family friendly. Not very compelling but not too cheesey.

  • Had good memories of watching it but rewatching now, it wasn't that great...

Just watched this film again and I must say that I was quite disappointed. Of course, I am still a fan of Pierce Brosnan and his way of incorporating James Bond. But many of the other characters seemed to be quite "flat". Especially the femaile villain. Her storyline and her playing didn't feel like a real person. The action stunt are nice, even though not convincing at all. But given that the film is already 25 years old, I think they're great!
