I watched this film at the pune film festival earlier this year, and it somehow managed to get me pretty interested with the intial concept of how the story was going to pan out. the way it was shot does give the fel o f an ultra minimalist drama. but get over bearing after a point where theres too much movement and the out of focus scenes are oo much for the brain to handle especially when the half the movie is so gory and intense and psychologically is very heavy.
some of the shots were beautiful i agree and the whole concept behind the story was brilliant, especially now that theres mass displacement in such a large number and adapting seems like the only option. the drama focused on the sadistic pleasures of the german teacher and her relationship with her student who is very keen on learning german but somehow the lines blur to a point where everything just becomes too random. i have to say i did sit through it all and my migraine pills did come very handy.
