Immensely enjoyable film . A bloody (literally ) good mix of Inglorious Basterds , Rambo and John Wick directed by Tarantino (not) .
It also seems that we have found the Bloodline of John Wick as Aatami is certainly his Grandfather . We can tell by his refusal to die , his love for dogs , his continuous improvisation . He is also from Finland which is close to Russia . Aatami's gold could be the source of the Wick family's wealth and power .
It's a well made movie and really fun to watch . You should not expect much realism from it . But it's a fun , gorry movie that has really a lot of blood and new ways to kill Nazis . Jomma Tommila is a revelation to me . Never heard of him before this film but he has a great body language and posture . The bedlington terrier is also a first i think in the film history .
Recommended as bloody hell.

I saw this movie on Greek tv in the 80s . I was a teenager and watched it in the company of adults . There was absolute silence during the viewing . When it ended i had to dry my eyes only to see all the adults in the room trying to wipe the tears from their faces . It is an amazing film . But just like "Million Dollar Babe" it is a sad film about life , caring , love , indifference and loss . As i said , not an easy film but one of the most beautiful i ve seen .
