So disappointed in this series. They had no chemistry and the lead actress just didn't.. fit. She had no emotion or sincerity, all her jokes landed flat. I understand diversity and inclusion and Oldham it's important not to discriminate - I, too, have a northern accent but hers just didn't go together with him or his accent.

Felt like the male lead had to work double time to make the audience feel anything. I don't think she was cast well.

I feel like the film was so much better. Even though it was shorter and more condensed. The acting and direction was better. I'm sorry to all the hardcore fans.

The "team leader" seems like it's not a thought-though concept. She seems like a cool girl but she doesn't seem to serve a purpose. The staged bits are reaaaallllyyy obvious..like dropping something big and being "shocked". It's happened in several episodes. So the acting is just quite bad. Everyone seems nice though and I like the designs, not like that other show on Netflix where half the show is their kids and every design is the same.

One thing - why did they put the baby in the closet with no window? :D Makes no sense.
