I remember the first test tube baby being born as she was born the same year my daughter was born.
I remember the publicity and the scare mongering in the press. It's thanks to the 3 people in the film that there are many millions of parents around the world who would otherwise be unable to have children.
We take having children for granted, but for many people it is not possible. One simply cannot imagine the heartache childlessness causes to families, particularly women, who feel totally inadequate because of it.
The film is excellent and all the acting superb! A very definite 'feel good' film
Thank goodness these brave people continued with their work despite all the negativity around their processes. Today IVF is just another treatment which hopefully, in an ideal world, everyone that needs it, can have it.

This is definitely a series where the characters grow on you! Such a pity there's only 6 episodes in a series, I wish there were 10.
It really is laugh out loud funny! (Even my husband was laughing!)
I think a series recap is good to remind you of the characters; so I've made a note for myself to rewatch at least series 2 when series 3 is released. And it must be released, as it's so different to much of what is out there at the moment.
The actors are excellent and totally believable! It highlights how parenting can have such a fundamental impact on families.
I thoroughly recommend watching the series if you are looking for a good 'different type' of comedy

There must be a second series of Ludwig! Totally engrossed in the first series which is very clever and unique.
David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin, in fact all the actors in the series are superb, and very likeable characters (except the chief constable who is suspicious) It was great to see the 'guest' actors pop up too.
This is a detective series with a unique 'take' on detecting plus an underlying puzzle which makes for a winning formula!
David Mitchell plays the lead exceptionally well, and is very entertaining, whilst Anna Maxwell Martin is fantastic as his sister-in-law. Anna's part is very different from her recent roles and shows what an excellent and versatile actress she is.
The six episodes is not enough!! Bring on more ... please.
