Impossible. Rather improbable. Or very possible. Any which way but........A super movie. My mum saw this at the cinema seven nights on the trot when released in Reading being infatuated with Clint E. It's still brilliant. You'll be confused first time round. Fall in love with the scenery second time and smile, laugh and thoroughly enjoy it all the third time. Not sure how times i have seen it but it gets better with each viewing. The wife gave up watching it with me a while back but lets me wallow in it and takes the greatest of pleasure in letting me thoroughly enjoy it with a glass of scotch.
Just take a look at the cast. Just take a look at the money it took at the box office. Forget the minor awards it achieved but visualise the awards it could have achieved. Forget the ages of the big names who star in the film. Rather look at their performances and watch the maturity of their years take hold of the characters and deliver a very gods story on the screen. Try not to criticise the manner in which RR runs; we become seniors. Study how the mature and youthful actors blend on screen to make the story totally believable. Like all the old silver screen movies you get the ending you want. It's timeless and it's brilliant.
This film is currently rated 4.7 on IMDb I think you can transpose those numbers and make it 7.4 if you've never been in the middle of a tornado. If you have and you think the film is rubbish, then you can carry on calling it a 4.7. Otherwise, it's 7.4. My wife and I who have never been in the middle of a tornado. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and we would recommend others watch it as well, unless of course you've been in the middle of a tornado. The shots of the disaster area, and the Mammatus clouds bring the film to a majestic ending And our recommendation is that you should watch this movie.
