I might be a bit late to celebrate this incredible movie, but it's never too late to appreciate one of the best movies to have come out of Bollywood recently. Yami Gautam is an amazing actress who deserves far more recognition and acclaim than she currently receives.
Every scene, every expression she delivers, lands perfectly, capturing the pain and disappointment of a woman who sought justice-not only for herself but for every woman in her community. The movie doesn't have any unnecessary fluff and remains focused and impactful throughout its runtime. It features some of the best courtroom scenes I have seen. Yami Gautam delivers a deeply moving monologue that brings the entire movie full circle. The music serves as a powerful supporting actor, reminding you of the movies core issues.

Right off the bat, there is nothing new in the movie that you haven't seen before. Whether it's action, stunts or weak storyline, you have seen it all. At one point in the movie, everything appears to be in slow motion, quickly moving nowhere. For a spy movie, there isn't a lot of spying and more of good looking people giving poses in a shot.
This movie has the same old songs but worse. Same old style but worse and same old plotline which is much worse. There are repetitive action scenes happening in every tourist attraction or promotable destination in the world. The two stars are for the two stars in the movie. Choose your own stars.

After the failure of his last movie, which was also an uninspired copy, it's sad to see this once-great-actor-among-superstars double down on a lazy formula. Lifting every scene frame by frame from a movie, released not long ago, called Champions, this hand-me-down sequel to Taare Zameen Par is void of any originality or sincerity.
The emotions land flat, the characters of the movie seem reduced to caricatures and the movie almost borders on parody, lacking any depth or dignity. Once known for his unique films made through innovative story telling, the star now seems lost in his own myth. It might behoove him to take a hard look at his legacy and ride off into the sunset before being pushed into oblivion where he remains a shadow of his former self.
