How did the filmmakers raise money for this high school play quality time waster? Amateur night acting, a screenplay that completely ignores the actual people who spent 180 days on a Pennsylvania billboard in favor of endless shots of the radio station owner staring into space. All this and Eric Roberts. Forget it.
I'm on Episode 9 and so far not much has happened except for people sitting around talking about what might be going on in their area. Occasionally there's a glimpse of something evil afoot but it's very occasionally. I am finding series both boring and frustrating. Like many of Stephen King's novels, this series needed a tighter edit.
PS-Finally finished the series and there's 10 hours I will never get back. Have no idea why anyone would give this waste of tine 9 or 10 stars. It is dull, ponderous and in the end, just a confused mess. How this even got made is a mystery. Skip it.

I don't have much patience with al the 'film buffy' reviews if films like this, you know, does it offer any big ideas?' Wh cares...it's a horror film and a damn frightening one. For my money it's this small Irish film is a lot more effective than overpraised movies like Heredity and Us. An arborist, his wife and infant move to a remote house in a heavily wooded area so he can assess the forest for the
loggers soon to come. Big mistaje
