The Closer is currently being aired daily on Lifetime. I have seen all the episodes and don't always actually watch closely. This is one of the best as pointed out by previous reviewer. I guess that's what happens when the Creator does the writing. The story was interesting and the acting awesome. LOVE the actress playing victims mother. She was reserved and believable. The respect she gave the team and respect she was given in return so refreshing to watch in this day and age. I would watch it from the beginning again if it were available. Since I don't usually review this show, I will add that in general, excellent show with genius casting and writing. Always with right balance of humor. Love the characters.

This movie has been on tv several times and I have found it to be watchable overall. Not a favorite but I actually left it on. Reading all the negative reviews, I must agree that Ryan Paevy well cast and Cindy Busby not so much. For me, I think her voice is the biggest turn off. The voice just diminishes any positive attributes she possesses and accentuates her complaining. Many reviewers faulted the writing which I think is very strong considering it is a Jane Austen interpretation. As a 72 year old female, I am embarrassed to admit that I only recently saw Pride & Prejudice (2005). Now, I can see that most of original characters are represented in this movie. I think adapting the relationships to modern dialogue quite an accomplishment. In the original, Lizzie was quite headstrong even to her detriment. I hope everyone will watch P&P (2005). My newest favorite movie. I have probably met my quota of word. Anyway, just a romantic story.

Who are these people giving high scores for this truly terrible movie? The slowest pace, the most awkward scenes, most boring and repetitive dialog. Agree with comment about low budget but I can enjoy low budget if there is anything redeeming about the story or the acting. Nothing redeeming here. Agree, even wardrobe ridiculous. GAF has a knack for taking a Hallmark type plot which is still watchable into something completely grotesque and uncomfortable. I had to FF several times. Even the final scene was screwed up with too many word. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it to finally end.
