I watched the second season before the first, which forced me to go back and watch the first season. I enjoyed the consistent and non-chaotic dramatic plotline. The first season may have been visually much less impressive than the second season, but the incredible visual leap in the second season makes this work something to be proud of.
The most striking thing about this series was the performance of the actors, both the main and secondary ones. It is very clear that the crew worked hard to master their roles and performances. I finally felt like I was watching a 100% Saudi story.
Sondos and Abu Badr delivered an excellent acting performance in every sense of the word. The child actors Thamer and Wajd also gave performances that suggest a bright future for them. Without a doubt, the entire crew, with a few exceptions, delivered very convincing acting performances.
The writer was able to move between the stories of the series' protagonists and connect them to the main character in a stunning way. We were able to live through several interconnected and smooth narratives.
Finally, as a Saudi viewer, I can say with pride that this series is the beginning of maturity in Saudi works, especially in dramatic series. We finally saw a story that represented us, without monotony or trivializing. On the contrary, suspense was present, and the gentle and non-vulgar comedy was present, accompanied by a well-organized story and very convincing performance.
