I see that the series is already getting a good amount of hate and I can see why. The art style is unappealing and the jokes can be lackluster. However, there are moments that did give me chuckles and there is some emotion I felt when watching the first two episodes, so, I can tell there's good intentions. The problem is that the series is really dull most of the time and can feel rather boring. At least Krapopolis gets me more hyper active as that show had more going on, and even modern Simpsons is doing a lot with experimentation, so at least I feel something with it. UBG is just mostly restricted and playing it safe, the unappealing art style is not helping either. Being safe doesn't mean it's bad automatically though, as I stated there are still some good jokes. Plus, I can sympathize with some of the characters with their struggles. Do I recommend it though, no, as I stated it's mostly safe and doesn't have much going for it, but if you wanna have a quick laugh while looking into some characters going about their struggles, this might be the show for you.
Balancing Act:
You know what I just realized what 101 Dalmatian Street episodes are like? These episodes are basically what would if you have a 4-year old with severe ADHD, 17 energy drinks, and told them to make an episode of a television show!
There's no sense of coherence, no sense of character development, the pacing is hopelessly erratic, and it has a cliched climax with a storm in a desperate attempt to make up for the idiotic writing! Also, it's extremely funny, with the poop joke that made me cringe to a degree.
Dawkins Strikes Back:
Better than before, but still very bad. It's annoying and is just to torture one of the characters, which is just more anger-inducing than funny. At least there is some coherence in here though.

Since previous reviews written for the short weren't well received, this review will be more reliable.
It's shocking to know that this isn't in the Censored Eleven because this is actually more offensive than the ones that made the list, the only reason why this cartoon isn't is because its not apart of the AAP package, but rather the Sunset package. Because its overshadowed by the Censored Eleven, it didn't gain much recognition and as it had its copyright renewed, it didn't get a physical media release, but its surprisingly available on YouTube.
But talking about the short itself, its more offensive than any Censored Eleven cartoon as mentioned before and I can definitely see why. All characters are blackfaced and features very offensive imagery like with using a watermelon as a harmonica and gambling.
The storyline is rather poor and is unintriguing, even if you take the stereotypes out. The cartoon is also slow paced and isn't funny at all. I guess the animation is the only redeeming quality and the social views from 1934 are considered outdated now, making it unintentionally racist? But I don't think this cartoon is worth your time especially with its offensive imagery. I'm honestly okay that this is forgotten about because this is one of the most offensive and boring WB cartoons of all time, at least the Censored Eleven, while offensive, have interesting stories and have better pacing while this one isn't interesting at all. So yeah, unless your a completionist, please avoid it. Its not worth your time.
