This movie was awful-start to finish. The acting ping-pongs between underacting and wildly overacting, sometimes in the same scene. The violence feels completely purposeless-thrown in just for shock, not to actually move the plot along.
The main character isn't some menacing predator; he's more like an annoying fruit fly buzzing around the edges of the story. And the main female lead? She spends the entire movie making the absolute worst decisions possible, to the point where it's honestly exhausting.
Also... I really need someone at Tubi to explain why so many of their films center Black women reacting to situations in ways that feel so wildly out of touch-like they've never met an actual Black woman in real life. Who is writing this?

For some reason I don't remember this episode originally airing. I just caught it on Pluto and WOW!
It's like the more Moesha asserts her (young) adulthood the more immature she behaves. What's scary is she's regarded as the brains of her clique. I guess it can be chalked up to age. She just seems a bit insufferable now that I'm viewing the show with adult eyes.
This whole teacher situation had me yelling at the tv. And what exactly was to be taken from it? She still came out of it as simpleminded as she went in.

Ms. Eastwood single-handedly ruined what could have been a breezy Saturday past time. I am a major fan of Mary Higgins Clark's books. However, I have come to terms with the fact that if you've seen one of her books-turned-movies you know what to expect: a cartoonish villain, a limp-acting leading lady, and a bunch of peripheral characters you won't care what happens to one way or another. Still this was dragged to the gutter by possibly the worst acting I've seen on this side of the Twilight saga.
