A nonstop outgoing animation with random licks of off-beat comedy and an other-worldly apocalyptic story make for a fun, out of control ride. The animation, while gorgeous and VERY dynamic, ends up blowing up and becoming so congested at the same time that, at times, it can be difficult to tell what's happened or is happening. This coupled with the disjointed nature of the storytelling can make the scenes and developments difficult to follow even if you're paying careful attention. It's still funny, interesting and wildly entertaining, but it probably would have helped it if it were toned down a little. Despite being a robot apocalypse eldritch horror series it's also surprisingly cute at times. :)
6teen explores the day to day goings on of 6 mall-obsessed teenage friends as they go through jobs, find romance, and experience some of the best of what this time in their lives has to offer.
It's pure enjoyment as we witness friends who make mistakes but in the end are always there for each other even amidst a long and distinguished list of shenanigans and hijinks.
Though not centrally story driven, 6teen does give us a genuine feeling of progress as the friends advance through different relationships and developments in life. If there was ever a downside to the potential enjoyment of the series, other than the fact that the show eventually ends, it would probably lie in the rare gross episodes (zits being a teenage nightmare). But they're infrequent at worst and even those still offer laughs and good times.
A great show to smile and laugh with as you wind down at the end of the day (or any time really). It just feels good.

Alice in Borderland is entertaining enough as a time filler. It starts off interestingly but after a few episodes it loses any potential witty charm. At first, just a few plot holes here and there exist but the further we go the more they prevail and expand. Coupled with the intense lack of realistic developments that become more and more commonplace (barring the sci-fi/supernatural setting of the show) and the non sequitur lines of "reasoning" it becomes a show best suited to numb the brain a bit before bed or the like. It at least deserves the corny horror movie treatment where we can laugh at the people being dumb as they knock over an armed assailant and keep running without stopping to take their weapon.
