Such a crass representation of a tragedy. Why do the self entitled people who make these sensationalist, I don't quite know what to calm them, let's say indulgences feel the urge to grossly misrepresent basic facts. Why would authenticity be so bad, if you have to exploit a human tragedy for money and vourism then at least try to do some research.
The trip along the dual carriageway to Lockerbie was beyond compare in terms of the most dreadful indulgent prurient TV for a while. Suddenly we are on a single track road in the middle of nowhere so we can dodge suitcases, plane fuselage and other destroyed detritus. But wait no spoilers: no bodies yet. Such awful TV. 10 mins was more than enough. Some will say give it a chance. I say, stop being a pointless voyeur.

Does the BBC specialise in dreadful cliche ridden unbelievably bad drama. Ok let's see, damaged relationships, police with damaged likes. Old loves rekindled, very poor scripts, no logic whatsoever not forgetting an absolute disregard for chronological accuracy. The answer is yes yes yes.....this is another brilliant example of their ineptitude and a total disregard for the fact that they are funded by licence fee. If they were not then this disgrace parading as drama would die at the first review meeting. Who commissioned this tripe. What a dullard. Then again this is par or should I say sub par for the BBC.
Not quite sure why the paramedics / first responders did not go te help the child who was shot? Are the producers saying that they don't attend to child victims until a responsible adult gets there?
I only say this as it is blatantly clear as the mother runs towards the victim ( her young son) that she runs past an estate car clearly festooned with the appropriate colours and which appears to say paramedic. I could be wrong about the paramedic bit but there is most definitely a first responder car there. Such shoddy filming is just pathetic...how hard is it to move the vehicle out of shot for such a dramatic scene. With this level of incompetence it doesn't seem worth watching.
