  • Sadly it's tainted by politics and the current fantasy that 'the immigrant did it'

Shame on you all, particularly the original author if he was involved. The only meaningful plot change was the explicit guilt of the polish immigrant and his arrest for murder.

Why this one change: playing to the current mood of the last resort favoured by the terminally dull and stupid?

No doubt plaudits will be won up and down the country at Britain for British meetings( whatever that can possibly mean) and the lovely people who think Stephen Lawrence and Damilola Taylor were targets.

    Disgusting.

  • Wow just awful

Only managed nine minutes of this formulaic dross. Nothing happening poorly disguised as suspense. A flawed cop ( my my how unoriginal) gets punched severely by his buddy and turns up at work next day with a minimal bruise. So now we know he is the unassailable hero who is broken but does not bruise. Laughably terrible by the numbers dross.

Only matched by the opening "don't go in the woods alone there's a killer there" sequence where what I guess is the victim joines forces with the assailant to make sure the crime happens. Dross dross dross.

Stunned anyone got to 10 minutes of this.

  • Does authenticity matter in tragedy

Such a crass representation of a tragedy. Why do the self entitled people who make these sensationalist, I don't quite know what to calm them, let's say indulgences feel the urge to grossly misrepresent basic facts. Why would authenticity be so bad, if you have to exploit a human tragedy for money and vourism then at least try to do some research.

The trip along the dual carriageway to Lockerbie was beyond compare in terms of the most dreadful indulgent prurient TV for a while. Suddenly we are on a single track road in the middle of nowhere so we can dodge suitcases, plane fuselage and other destroyed detritus. But wait no spoilers: no bodies yet. Such awful TV. 10 mins was more than enough. Some will say give it a chance. I say, stop being a pointless voyeur.
