We begin the film review in a state where the audience is confronted with the world of "Wallace & Gromit" for the first time and has no prior knowledge of them. At the very beginning of the film, we encounter an antagonist. "Fedders McGraw" is a penguin who is arrested by "Wallace" and "Grommit" at the beginning of the story. His entry into prison and a face that shows a sense of revenge in him are accompanied by wonderful music to create the character of the antagonist of the story for the audience before the opening credits of the film. A character who does not speak and has no dialogue, and whose character is formed only through the image. A very difficult task that the directors of this film "Nick Park and Marilyn Crossingham" do well. From the very beginning, the audience's task with the film is clear. A bird's revenge is on its way to challenge the heroes of the story.
It's been fourteen years since the release of the fifth installment of "Final Destination." Given the good profitability of the previous installments of the series, it seemed that this break was due to the creation of a new attitude and the drawing of a new path. But the release of "Final Destination: Bloodlines" showed that these ideas were nothing more than dreams and fantasies, and that they were just following the same old footsteps, and there was no sign of a radical change in the structure of these works. This new film could easily have been called "Final Destination 6" and nothing special would have happened and it could have been released a few years earlier, but it seems as if its creators have decided to remake the same tried-and-true works and pocket money for a new generation of horror fans who don't have the patience to watch the previous films. In such a framework, a review of the film "Final Destination: Bloodlines" naturally addresses how the film manages to attract an audience unfamiliar with the series to some extent but disappoint viewers of the previous films.
Stop reading the Squid Game review and go watch it; without looking at any more pictures, official trailers, or any other text about it. Regardless of your final opinion of the entire work, this South Korean series contains moments that you probably don't want to miss; sequences so calculated and specific that they don't easily leave the viewer's mind.
During the best moments of the best episodes, the powerful writing of the Squid Game series pushes the audience step by step towards questions that are no longer about the characters. Rather, they take up residence in the human mind and press them with the thought that if they were in a certain situation like the characters, what moral boundaries would they really cross with their survival instinct? Squid Game's secrets being revealed to the audience can prevent them from being affected by the main shock of some of these key moments and never being part of a special and powerful experience. Is the series worth watching again if some plot points are leaked? Absolutely. But if you can, go to sea with your heart more or less closed.
