I agree with whoever said the "laugh tracks" are obnoxious. I normally turn off a show that uses them, but this was funny and after the first 7 or 8 episodes, they didn't bother me as much. Lose them, and this show would be perfect. It's an all-star cast, all with perfect comedic timing and excellent acting. The writing is first-rate. I want to see more of this!
The acting, the cinematography, the plot, all did justice to the best writer of all time, Margaret Atwood. I want a sequel, which could involve some of the loose ends not covered in this series. It would be interesting to know what happens to Gilead after this.
Elizabeth Moss is an excellent actress and a fine director. I'll be looking for more from her in the future. Perhaps another of Atwood's books? The Robber Bride would be a good choice, or perhaps The Edible Woman.
This series is quite a bit more suspenseful than I would have expected. It was impossible to guess the ultimate outcome. I enjoyed it all.
