I've been really getting into these characters. However this is the first episode so far that I've given a perfect 10. I don't know why but this one really hit the sweet spot for me.

I found the writing to be very clever. It felt like there were no wasted or filler scenes. Every sub-plot was engaging. Just totally enjoyable from start to finish and lots of audible chuckling from me.

I continue to enjoy the dream sequences and the ones in this episode were particularly interesting.

Gives me lots of hope and excitement for where the series is heading.

I like that Joel is becoming more attached and protective of Cicely. Very cute.

I actually quite enjoyed part 1 and part 2 of this trilogy. They were fun and fast paced with a satisfying amount of gore. Good slasher flicks.

I was apprehensive seeing 1666 in the title of this one. Such a radical departure from the established formula was going to be tough to accomplish. Also apprehensive about the director saying this third instalment was not really a slasher film.

This third part for me was actually unwatchable. After half an hour I just skipped to the end to see the predictable "twist" that most people would have already figured out early on during part 1.

The huge problem here is the atrocious Irish style accent that these actors are trying to pull off to various degrees of non-success. It's so laughably bad that I couldn't even pay attention to the dialogue or follow the boring plot. Whoever decided on this choice must be insane. It totally ruins the movie from the start and becomes a sad joke.

Also, I really didn't feel like the lesbian element needed to make a return here. These two girls have no chemistry whatsoever and I'm just not feeling it. Seeing this issue played out in 1666 also felt somewhat fake and ridiculous. You could tell this was just cringe cosplay.

Very disappointing conclusion to what could have been a decent horror trilogy! A real shame.
