This film stands as one of the most tedious cinematic experiences I have encountered. While it occasionally dazzles with visually arresting moments of the landscape in a haunting fashion and offers a handful of scenes that generate genuine suspense, it ultimately falls short of expectations and fails to deliver a compelling narrative.
The performances are commendable, particularly Sarah Paulson, who never fails to demonstrates her exceptional talent, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, also wonderful. The supporting cast also delivers adequately, though their efforts cannot salvage the film's overarching shortcomings.
The primary flaw lies in its lethargic pacing; what's intended as a "slow-burn" often feels more like watching a candle melt at an agonizingly gradual pace.
The antagonist of this film, in my opinion, is meant to be an allegory for fear, this may have been lost on the audience who were looking for a more "in-your-face" monster movie but regardless of this, it rarely crept it's ugly head in the door to keep anyone interested. A slow-burn would have been fine, but there was truly nothing interesting to make it worth it.
And the dust, oh the dust! It raises the question: how does one render sand and dust frightening? The answer, it appears, is that one does not.
In summary, this film is a disappointing experience, lacking in engagement, leaving the viewer with nothing but frustration. An opportunity for a terrifying new monster/cosmic horror figure has been fumbled.

Fast paced action p*%n that doesn't even require a plot for people to watch.
If having your phone in your hand is your constant crutch and the addiction you have yet to realize you have then you probably love these films. If the quick flips of colors and pops and noises on your social media is what you desire these movies are the equivalent of it.
The plot is Dr Seuss simple. Because of the constant devolution of American culture, the movie is an amalgamation of the quintessential ADHD monkey brain. Constantly in motion with bright flashing colors, spinning kicks and movement.
Everyone loves Keanu Reeves because he is a good person and always an affable and genuine man. It would appear that being an actor isn't just about acting because he isn't the best actor. In fact he isn't even a good actor. Poor, flat delivery of lines. When there is a range of emotion, he overacts and screams as if it will save the performance. Keanu seems like a great guy but i cannot understand how people think he is a good actor.
For the action choreography, editing and sound mixing this movie deserves some kind of recognition. But overall this movie series is an absolute mess of action nonsense made for the masses with no heart and soul.
