I loved this show and honestly I hate when the good ones like this get canceled. It was beautifully done. The suspense was great!! The mystery part was good and it was clever. It was a dark ride that I took and loved every single part of the ride. They did in fact leave us on a cliffhanger. EVIL, Santa Claritas Diet, and several others I have watched over the last 5 years deserved better. Especially hits like Killing Eve. But even that got a final season. Manifest too. So why not this one?? Such a sad thing. I hope the cast and crew find success with other endeavors!! Thanks for the spooky hilarious ride. I'm going back to my buffyverse!!
This movie made me cry and laugh and feel something so sweet and poignant. It Is based on the producer's real life experience when phone lines used to get crossed in the 80s and 90s before all was lost to cellular phones. This was before wifi and the internet. Before.... MySpace and LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok Snapchat and Facebook. Back when there was no texting but, actually having to talking to someone over the phone. This was a lovely little movie that hit this lady right in the feels. According to what I've read up about this film, the 2 main leads never got to see each other until the movie's premiere. Give it a try. I was cynical about it at first but it won me over quite soon.
