I wanted to like this movie but it was a rough watch. The jokes felt a bit lazy, the scenes too exaggerated, and the ending felt unrealistic and as though it was simply trying too hard.
I had really wanted to like this movie despite some of the glaring stereotypes. Unfortunately it starts out quite strong with a very likable protagonist but begins to drag halfway through and does not recover . I continuously waited for this movie to begin to captivate me but wound up disappointed.
This movie started out really strong and grew slower and slower. By the middle of the movie I was waiting for something to happen and it simply never does. The ending really dragged. Disappointing.
