...that was it? It felt like half of the movie was missing. As someone close to a DV survivor, I was interested to see this perspective but felt like it was missing everything. The plot made no sense and Lily was the most empty, unlikable character. It seemed like her relationships with Allysa and her husband magically appeared out of nowhere. Blake Lively was so stiff, boring, and uncreative. Just like her wardrobe, which is something she really shouldn't brag about.
I gave it 1 star because we know how much Justin wanted to make a meaningful movie and the Barbie wannabe couldn't resist taking it over. I want to see Justin's cut!

I'm loving seeing a game show take place at the Friends Experience! The concept is fun and being "on set" is a special experience. I enjoy the challenges but have some other thoughts as well.
I enjoy Whitney Cummings as a comedian but she's very out of place here. The rules of the game are weird and hard to follow, but I'm enjoying the challenges themselves. I'd re-evaluate the structure of the show and the point system to be a little more clear and streamlined. I'd also maybe have different challenges for each team. I also really think a new host is needed, Whitney just doesn't bring the right energy to this show.

This show had NO business making me shed tears on the first episode! It's simple, cute, and relatable. I didn't go into this show with much expectation, but I was surprised at how well written it was. I was wouldn't call it amazing yet but I definitely like it already! I liked Gina and Hannah from their original respective shows, "Jane the Virgin," and "New Girl" and I like them a lot here too. You can't help but initially kind of dislike Nell but the show gently reminds us that people are flawed and life is short. Watch it for a little laugh and maybe a few tears. I'm eager to see what the rest of the season will bring and where they take the storyline!
