I'm don't claim to be a musician or anything but for a show about being musical prodigies in an elite music school, I'm genuinely impressed at how little they get right about music. I made this account for the explicit reason of letting you know that whoever wrote and directed this garbage has clearly never had contact with a single musical instrument or bothered to do any research and should probably be banned from all artistic industries. The idea of giving any student a random music piece (especially something immensely difficult? Like an Etude) and expecting them to play it without tripping up on a single note is ridiculous. The emphasis on "playing music right" by playing for accuracy rather than putting heart and feeling into music is sickening. If you play any musical instrument or even if you just did orchestra for a year in primary school and quit after your violin string snapped in the middle of a concert, do yourself a favor and find a better show to watch.
