this film i saw just because there was nothing else to see on DVD, and i thought well i want to waste a little time, and all the same i can fast forward it. but then the first ten minutes just grabbed me, and the story and acting are so convincing and funny, touching the reality of a part of Mexico and i am certain that of a lot of other Latin American countries. i just loved this film, is so emotive and so sincere. way to go Lucatero Eduardo, please continue the good job all the involved congratulations!! give this little film with a heart an opportunity, this film is really worth to watch you will enjoy the whole time. Mexico deserves this kind of films, the people involved, make a really excellent job.

come on, please!! i cant believe people are so much liking this film. I mean it is good, but just that. don't take me wrong I loved Constantine, from this same director. and i love zombie and vampire films, in general. every time there is one out. i go to see it. but to prefer this film above the golden compass, which has a greater and deeper message, i mean i feel the box office is wrong. people come on what is going on, the world and people are so crazy. well thats the way it is I suppose. I liked this movie, but it is just a vampire zombie film, with certain action, and a dull fake message at the end. and actually god doesn't exist.

come on, giving a part of this horror action franchise to this lousy director, what a blatant mistake. I even gave him the shadow of a doubt, but no, Mulcahy has demonstrated several times that he has a great capability for letting us horror fans down.

please even if he is your good friend or maybe because he charges really cheap for movie, please please don't ever give him a good idea like this one to ruin, give him something else.

paul w.s. anderson and mulcahy, don't direct a movie that you are not passionate about, please, ameke yourself and us all a favor. the only parts in his film that are not boring are the ones that we already have seen in the trailers. Mulcahy is not a good horror action director. You should have contacted someone like Stephen norrington instead.
