Several stories intertwined into one larger story about the missing 3rd grade class who all left their homes at 2:17am. The town on edge is pointing fingers while trying to get answers but fail to find any. Weapons is Creeger's sophomore film and definitely cements his place in horror history. A strong cast, script, and direction allow for a terrifying time at the multiplex.
Not written by AI but it could have been. I debated walking out id the theater because it was that bad. Reminded me of that stupid Geico commercial around Halloween time. The story made no sense at all and they even acknowledge the fact they are ripping off other movies in the movie. P. S. Name dropping the title of your movie will never be cool. These characters were super unlikable and the acting was not great. I don't know who green-lit this. I have never even played the game so I had an open mind but dang. Id save your money and not give into this cash grab. There are many other great movies out there and this isn't one of them.
Heart Eyes was a good attempt at a holiday themed horror movie, but ultimately didn't know what it wanted to be. A romantic comedy mixed with horror elements seems like an interesting idea, but unfortunately ended up dull. Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding are great in their roles and the character design for the Heart Eyes Killer was cool. The story was a little bit all over the place and doesn't have much of a payoff in the end. The kills were fun and creative, but usually done for laughs. Overall, if you are looking for a silly and dumb horror movie for a Valentine's Day date night, Heart Eyes is a good choice.
