After reading some of the reviews it's clear that everyone is using their opinion of Tariq as a reason to not like the show...which is not fair. Tariq is SUPPOSED to be unlikable. I honestly want to see how he plans on getting out of murdering his father. Plus, this is the FIRST episode. How can you base your opinion of the show off of one damn episode!? Give the show a chance and don't let your emotions for the characters change your feelings about the show. Y'all did the same thing for the perspective episodes that were revealing the killer. Each and every one of those episodes answered questions and gave us new info but instead because y'all didn't think the character was a "key character" or you didn't like the character, you rated the episode low...completely ignoring the actual substance of the episode.
ALSO, Michael Rainey is an EXCELLENT actor. If he wasn't then y'all wouldn't dislike Tariq!
Now for the episode, this was a pretty good episode. I still don't like Tariq lol...but he is definitely another Ghost. Look at how easily he can switch up...like Ghost. He's manipulative, like Ghost. He's charismatic, like Ghost. I think they're really onto something here. I'm looking forward to more episodes and I'm interested to see what's going to happen to Tasha.

There's a particular episode that was really bad but this show overall was not what I expected. The storyline is interesting but the acting and script is not the best. The constant awkward pauses and repeated lines...I don't believe it needs to be cancelled, I just believe the lines need to be delivered better or the script needs to be written better...again, the storyline is on point.
I'm proud of Tyler Perry for pitching out all of these shows but I hope he knows that his fans would prefer quality over quantity.
