What I don't get it is how do these millennials not know how to "Send Current Location". 😆 Okay, getting a bit to technical here but good show.
The movie had a good story to tell but lacked the finesse to polish up some aspects of screenwriting and storyboarding. The emotional build-up from an audience point of view was solely based on the impact of the dialogue but not on the screenplay. A lot can be done than just having lengthy scripts. This is where your storyboarding is important to the extend that some scenes should be given time and exploration to allow the main character to express her emotions. Some parts are packed with none of those but just dialogues which can get seriously irritating to a certain extend.
Unnecessary graphics which totally made no sense and amateurish. The birds at the beginning of the movie were just graphics, which I felt that there should be more effort into sourcing out the actual mise en scene. And during the part where the police account is being narrated to the lawyer at a coffeehouse, the graphics only made things more cheap.
Overall, this is a story that we all need and it is a representation to fight against a horrible man-made crisis. Good music accompaniment, and probably worth your time watching.
