Very impressive indie, with major style points, great music and solid acting performances all around. I would watch it again (very rare for me) and recommend for anyone looking for a thought-provoking and heartfelt musical drama. It's set around Christmastime, so expect this to be one that gets revisited on movie nights in December. It's in the vein of Once, La La Land, Inside Llewyn Davis, or Begin Again.
The most impressive thing here is how without a big budget or action sequences, or even name actors, it's all comes across very compelling and authentic, moves at a good enough pace, and brings us on a character arc that is relatable and challenging to our own sense of living "the dream" whatever that may be...
