Hold Your Breath (2024)
Overused plot with a great setting and lead actress
There's not many surprises in Hold Your Breath. If you've seen the trailer, then the movie unfolds exactly how you would expect it to unfold. However, Hold Your Breath is moderately better than the typical movie with this plot due to its setting and the performance of Sarah Paulson. The movie does an excellent job portraying the despair of the Dust Bowl. Whether it's the constant reminder of respiratory damage, the absurd amounts of dust everywhere, or the dead bodies buried in the dust, the movie constantly reminds you that 1930s Oklahoma was a miserable time and place to live. It also does a great job portraying the isolation of small towns in the Great Plains during the era. If Hollywood were to produce another version of The Grapes of Wrath soon, they should give this film's director and cinematographer a call. And if you're a fan of Sarah Paulson, you won't be disappointed with her performance. It's not her most interesting character, but I still found her acting enjoyable. Unfortunately, this plot can only get carried so far. The setting is the only original aspect of the film, the rest of this film has been seen dozens of times before. Usually, I would give this type of movie a 4/10. However, the Dust Bowl setting and Sarah Paulson upgrades this film to a 6/10.
Hell Hole (2024)
How does a 90 minute movie have three hours of dialogue?
As a big fan of creature features, I was excited to check out Hell Hole. While the movie still had some fun moments, it was mostly a disappointment. The biggest issue with the film concerns the amount of dialogue that neither advances the plot nor meaningfully develops the character. The movie's plot is very basic, so there wasn't much to develop. Similarly, almost all of the characters are underdeveloped. These dialogue scenes feel as though they stretch on for forever because the action scenes are either very brief or poorly executed. So it movie often seems as though it's 90+ minutes of redshirts chatting with only brief breaks for action. Another big issue concerns the ending as I felt like it was wrapped up way too quickly with the fates of a few characters not fully understood. Ultimately, Hell Hole is a movie that falls well short of its relatively high potential.
The Hills Have Eyes (1977)
Not a Classic
While The Hills Have Eyes still has some entertainment value, it is not in the same league as Wes Craven's best movies such as A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream. The main issue with this film is the intense unlikability of the characters. Even the dogs and baby in this film are unlikeable. There's the irascible dad who drives like a toddler the second he gets startled, the young man who withholds crucial information from his family and consistently makes idiotic decisions, the son-in-law whose passionate about dumpster diving for trash, the woman who can't recognize her own husband, the woman who screams excessively, Dee Wallace, the baby with the creepy stare, the poorly trained dog with no recall, and the sociopathic dog who has killed a poodle. Ruby, Jupiter's daughter, is the only likeable character in the entire movie. I still gave this film a five rather than a two or three because it does keep the plot and action moving at a swift pace, so the film shouldn't bore you. Overall, Aja's 2006 version provided a needed upgrade to this original version.
Urgency (2011)
Freevee started this movie without my consent
Like most people who have had the unpleasant experience of seeing some of this film, I did not intentionally choose to watch Urgency. The film I was watching on Freevee ended, and before I turned the television off, this film started on its own. The movie was just background noise, so I figured it would be okay to leave it on. Boy was I wrong. Urgency will infuriate you with its incredibly bad screenwriting and acting. All of the actors in this film walk around as if they had a hangover and were just there to collect a paycheck. I wouldn't blame them if my career had come to the point where I had to star in films like Urgency. Why does this film think the viewer would care so much about this corporate buyout? And based on the dialogue quality, it's clear that the writers have never worked in a corporate job before. All characters but especially the main character are intensely unlikeable. Also, there are so many scenes in this film that could have easily been cut. For instance, was it really necessary for us to watch the main character withdraw the ransom from his bank account? My hope for this film is that they wanted to make a "so bad it's good" film, but failed. If this were meant to be a serious film, then I hope anyone who worked on this film retired from the industry shortly afterwards.
Sous la Seine (2024)
Absolutely wild climax saves otherwise bad movie
For most of its runtime, Under Paris is a generic straight-to-streaming shark movie. Until the climax, the movie alternates between wasting time and shark action that's been seen in dozens of movies before. Additionally, all of the characters in this film are either unlikeable or undeveloped. I would have been perfectly fine with every single character in this film becoming shark food. The special effects also leave a lot to be desired, I believe Deep Blue Sea in the 1990s had better special effects than this film a quarter of a century later. However, the climax of the film bumps this film up a couple stars. Under Paris has possibly the wildest ending in a shark movie that doesn't involve sharknados. If the characters in this film had been likeable and memorable, the climax would have been one of the best ever in a Netflix film. Ultimately, I would recommend watching this film although the first 75 minutes doesn't require your full attention.
Dashcam (2021)
Great scares with some serious flaws
Dashcam had the potential to be one of the best found footage horror movies of all time. Instead, it's a decent movie with some great scares and laughs that's held back by an annoying main character, shaky camera footage, irrational scenes, and an ending that could have been better. First, the main character is a very unlikeable person. Her obsession with politics and culture wars takes away from both the atmosphere and comedy of the film. The first part of the film entirely focuses on her, making this portion of the film rather tedious. Second, there are numerous scenes in this film that do not fit well with the rest of the film. One example would be a scene where characters have a humorous chat while being chased and other scenes where the monster is easily contained despite being extremely powerful in the last scene. And while the shaky camera footage in many scenes might be realistic, it makes for a poor movie. I also thought the ending could have been better and was resolved too easily.
But with all of these negatives, I still enjoyed watching this movie. It is very funny at times, plus maintains a scary atmosphere for the final two thirds of the film. I honestly think that if it weren't for the flaws mentioned above, this movie would be in the conversation of a new classic because of how much potential it had.
Saturday Night Live: Walter Payton & Joe Montana/Debbie Harry (1987)
Could have been better
20th century Saturday Night Live episodes were even more hit or miss than current episodes of the series. Unfortunately, this episode had more misses than hits. There were two skits from this episode worth watching. The Church Lady interview with Walter Payton and Joe Montana is one of the best Church Lady skits that SNL ever produced. I'd recommend any fan of the show watch this skit at least once. Second, there is a pretty good skit where Joe Montana and Phil Hartman are roommates. Also, the Adobe car skit was acceptable. The rest of the skits fell flat and couldn't engender a laugh. The Weekend Update skit disappointed greatly. There were a couple chuckles, but the jokes mostly fell flat. Also, many of the jokes in the Weekend Update skit were not socially acceptable by 2023 standards. To be honest, Dennis Miller was a pretty weak Weekend Update anchor during his tenure and isn't half the anchor that Colin Jost and Michael Che are. Overall, this episode still earns a 6/10 due to the Church Lady skit, Joe Montana roommate skit, and the respect that I have for Montana and Walter Payton.
Saturday Night Live: Woody Harrelson/Jack White (2023)
Mediocre episode with a great Cologuard commercial
Woody Harrelson is a SNL legend, having first hosted the show in 1989 and just now joining the five timers club. With Harrelson as host, you knew there would be at least a few good laughs. Unfortunately, this episode was not one of the best of the season. Many of the skits were unmemorable, including the opening skit and one of the weaker Weekend Update segments of the year. The Cologuard commercial easily ranks as the best skit of this episode, and even one of the best skits of the entire season. Those Cologuard commercials are ripe for Saturday Night Live material, and I'm a bit surprised it took the writers this long to include them in a skit. This episode is still worth watching, just don't expect it to be as good as the Pedro Pascal episode.
The Last of Us: Endure and Survive (2023)
An Excellent Combination of Drama and Action
The Last of Us continues to excel as both a dystopian drama and zombie horror series. As a big fan of the video game, the series has met or exceeded all of my expectations. The episode "Endure and Survive" continues to build on the drama and characterization that has developed over the previous four episodes. The episode primarily focuses on Sam and Henry's character development, and how their interaction with Joel and Ellie will impact the main characters later in the series. With a television drama, it usually takes me a few episodes to start caring about the characters. But with The Last of Us, the character development is so great that I'm invested in the characters within the span of a single episode. Along with the protagonists, the show humanizes the antagonists to a certain extent and makes them more than just a generic apocalyptic villain. And when it comes to the action in this episode, this episode arguably has the best action scene in the entire series since the original episode where Joel and Sarah try to escape the initial outbreak. The only small complaint I have with this episode is that it would be great if the viewer could spend more time with the secondary characters, as their emotional impact would be even greater. 9/10.
Pros and Cons Summary
+One of the best action sequences in the series so far
+Great character development for Henry, Sam, and Ellie
+Making Sam deaf (a deviation from the game) was an excellent story choice
+The Last of Us continues to have some of the best sound editing and music ever for a television drama
-Series could have an even stronger emotional impact if the viewer could spend more time with the secondary characters.
Campfire Stories (2001)
5 stars out of respect for Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney
I usually don't write reviews for old movies. However, the current reviews for Campfire Stories (2001) fail to mention that this movie was one of the first acting roles for both Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney. If Rob and Charlie had never met when filming this movie, then "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" would not exist today. Because of this important connection, this movie shows how seemingly insignificant works can have still have a big impact on life. Additionally, fans of the show will get a kick out of seeing Rob and Charlie before they became famous. It's especially fun to see Charlie, as his character is very different from the characters he has played since 2005. And Rob's presence in the third story made me actually care about the outcome of those characters.
If it weren't for the casting of Charlie and Rob, I would give this movie either two or three stars. I won't discuss the errors in filmmaking too deeply, as I believe most of the reviews from 2001-2011 adequately cover that subject. However, the special effects are extremely low budget, the stories aren't scary, and the plot holes are big enough that you could drive a bus through them.
If you're a fan of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", I would recommend watching this movie. But if you don't care for that show, there are much better movies you can watch. 5/10.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but still a good sequel
2022's Texas Chainsaw Massacre ranks as one of the best originally produced horror movies by Netflix. However, that title isn't as impressive as it may sound as most Netflix horror movies are average or of poor quality. With this film, you'll get what you expect from this series with a few original adaptations such as Leatherface on a bus with yuppies. At a runtime of only 80 minutes, the film maintains a fast pace that prevents boredom and keeps you interested. Although towards the end, you do feel that the film has started to run out of tricks. The exception to this statement is that the last minute of the film is the best possible ending. Along with the film's fast pace, there are other positives such as decent suspense, gruesome deaths, and a great setting with the town of Harlow. Although this film isn't as good as the original, I appreciated that the amount of screaming in this film is kept to a manageable level. While the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is still one of the best horror movies of the 1970s, I think we can all agree that there was way too much screaming in the second half of that film. Unfortunately, there are still some noticeable flaws with this 2022 sequel. The main weakness is that all of the characters are either forgettable or annoying. This includes original final girl Sally. Sally was always a weak final girl like Alice from Friday the 13th, rather than a memorable final girl like Laurie from Halloween or Ripley from Alien. Additionally, like all previous films in this franchise, this film has a very simplistic plot that could have benefited from more development. Overall though, horror fans should enjoy this 2022 sequel.
Pros and Cons Summary
+Fast paced
+Some suspense and gruesome deaths
+Classic setting and villain
-Characters are forgettable or annoying
-It doesn't reinvent the wheel, viewers have seen most of it before.
Ghosts: The Vault (2022)
One of the best episodes of the series
As a fan of the British version, I was eager to watch the American version of Ghosts when it began last fall. While I still prefer the British version, the American version has become one of the best new comedies this year. The episode "The Vault" continues to cement this opinion. Although I did not initially like all of the characters when this show began, the characters have grown on me and this episode continues to improve my affinity for these characters. This episode significantly develops Hetty and adds more depth to her character. If the series continues on the trajectory it's been on in the past few episodes, there's a chance that the American version will catch the British version in character development. There were also many new ideas on this episode that were quite original and should be incorporated into the British version. The premise of a ghost who makes people aroused was quite humorous. Most importantly, the twist that ghosts can descend to the underworld adds a new dimension to the series. While it was a great episode, there are still a few weaknesses in the series. Storylines are still a bit rushed, as the drama between Hetty and her husband should have played out over several episodes. Additionally, the show consistently finds absurd ways to introduce new ghosts in the show, such as a secret vault that even the ghosts didn't know about. If the series continues this trend, it will start getting ridiculous and irritating. But with those small complaints aside, it is still a great episode. 8/10.
Pros and Cons Summary
+Original ideas, such as ghosts descending to the underworld and ghosts who can make people aroused
+Good jokes
+Good character development in this episode, particularly with Hetty
-Storyline feels rushed
-A secret vault that even the ghosts didn't know about is a bit hard to believe.
Saturday Night Live: Ariana DeBose/Bleachers (2022)
I hadn't heard of Ariana Debose before, but now I like her
It's always great when Saturday Night Live helps a young host increase their following. After tonight's episode, I imagine a lot more people will consider themselves fans of Ariana Debose. As a Broadway actress, hosting SNL comes natural to her. Plus, the writers of this episode came prepared with great skits for her. There were a lot of great skits in this episode, such as the Sacramento Kings replacement players and Pete Davidson selling prom dresses. Most notably, the Weekend Update of this episode was one of the season's best. However, following Weekend Update, the quality of the skits dipped and the remaining ones were only mediocre. A strong episode with an okay finish. 7/10.
Ghosts: Jay's Sister (2022)
Ghosts continues to be one of the best new comedies this year
As a fan of the British version, I was eager to watch the American version of Ghosts when it began last fall. While I still prefer the British version, the American version has become one of the best new comedies this year. The episode "Jay's Sister" continues to cement this opinion. There are numerous funny jokes in this episode, most of which are NSFW. Although I did not initially like all of the characters when this show began, the characters have grown on me and this episode continues to improve my affinity for these characters. The one main aspect of the show that makes me prefer the British version is that the storylines and character development in the American version feel rushed and not fully fleshed out. For instance, with the "Jay's Sister" episode, the idea of Trevor having a romance with Bela is a storyline that could have been developed over several episodes. Instead, the show wrapped up the entire plot in one twenty minute episode. But on the whole, Ghosts and in particular "Jay's Sister" are still quality comedy that is worth watching. 7/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Good jokes
+Good character development in this episode, particularly with Trevor and Pete
-Storyline feels rushed
-The idea for the episode is a bit absurd.
Ghosts: He Came! (2021)
A quality, heartfelt episode
The British version of Ghosts often differentiates itself from other current comedies through its emphasis on character development and emotional depth. Many of the episodes are also hysterical. He Came! Continues the trend of increasing emotional depth and character development, although it's not one of the funnier episodes of the season. The show made a good decision with the homeless drama and diving further into Fanny Button's background. There are also many funny moments in the episode, such as the Thomas Thorne portrait. However, some of the jokes in this episode are mediocre, such as Robin and Mary's negotiations with Alison. Overall, an episode that fans will enjoy. 8/10.
Pros and Cons Summary
+Heartfelt drama for the episode's plot
+Interesting backstory for Fanny Button
+Thomas Thorne portrait
-Not the funniest episode.
Norman Gives a Speech (1989)
He's sad, but is he loveable?
The IMDB storyline states, "Sad, loveable businessman Norman tries to give a speech at a business conference, and goes through everything from coffee spills on slide frames, his speech falling in his toilet, and a fire alarm, all while failing to do such a simple job..." This storyline basically summarizes the entire short, as there isn't much development for the characters or the plot. I disagree with IMDB stating that Norman is loveable, as I find him to be unbelievably frustrating. I am not going to give a recommendation for this short, as any person watching Norman Gives a Speech is watching as part of the Rifftrax Live episode of Night of the Living Dead. Overall, this short is terrible but a great choice for a Rifftrax episode.
RiffTrax Live: Night of the Living Dead (2013)
You beat them off???
Rifftrax usually focuses its comedy on low quality films. After all, these are often the easiest movies to riff. However, Night of the Living Dead ranks as one of the best horror movies of the 1960s. Luckily, the movie still has many moments that are great for jokes. Some of the highlights of this Rifftrax include:
-the poorly chosen words of the sheriff on television
-the inability of Barbara to act like a functional human being
-the introduction short of Norman Gives a Speech
-Harry Cooper's constant look of rage
-the jokes regarding the film's crickets and carpentry
-Johnny's driving gloves
-Ben's inability to notice a window that he didn't board up
Overall, a high-quality Rifftrax that fans of the series will enjoy. 7/10.
RiffTrax Live: Manos - The Hands of Fate (2012)
You're embarrassing me in front of Torgo!
Manos: The Hands of Fate creates the perfect opportunity for Rifftrax, which is why this movie had already been riffed in Mystery Science Theatre 3000. The filmmakers of Manos truly did embarrass themselves, and Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy, and Michael Nelson rip into them for their truly horrible filmmaking. There are many scenes in this film that are ripe for riffing, including:
-two teenagers who never take a break from making out in their car
-parents who lose their only daughter right in front of their eyes
-the never ending fight between Manos's wives
-the inability of the parents to run without tripping
-the policemen who give up in their search after taking a couple of steps
-literally any scene with Torgo
With such prime material, Rifftrax and MST3000 fans should definitely watch this riff. While their riff of Manos isn't quite as funny as their best riffs, such as Birdemic, it is still an above-average addition to Rifftrax. 7/10.
W lesie dzis nie zasnie nikt II (2021)
One of Netflix's worst movies
Even though I'm a horror fan, Netflix's horror movies are usually not the best movies on the streaming service. Like the first Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight, they are usually average or slightly above average. Unfortunately, this film failed to even meet those expectations. The film starts off poorly, with a scene that doesn't have much to do with anything. The viewer then meets the main characters, who are both unlikeable and unrealistic choices for police officers. Apparently, there are only three police officers in this town and they are an old and out of shape man, a young man with less courage than the Wizard of Oz lion, and a girl who looks like she should be in her freshman year of college. Other than the survivor from the first film, the only other characters we meet are an animal abuser, two annoying camp directors, and two neo-nazis. Overall, one of the most unlikeable casts possible. The plot appears to be written by a child, because it is equally as bad as the characters. Instead of scares and suspense, the movie chooses to make one failed joke after another. And as bad as the first half of movie is, the second half is significantly worse. The scenes that include dialogue between monsters are some of the worst scenes ever produced by Netflix. The only good thing I can say about this film is that some of the murders are pretty unique. I should have turned this film off in the first twenty minutes, but decided to keep watching since the first film was worth a view. Netflix is currently considering a third film in this series. I would strongly recommend that they scrap those plans and put those resources into a new series that could have more potential. 2/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Some of the kills are pretty interesting
-None of the jokes are funny
-All characters are highly unlikeable
-Not scary
-All scenes that include dialogue between monsters are excruciatingly bad.
Last Night in Soho (2021)
Enjoyable movie that misses its full potential
I love the premise for Last Night in Soho. Edgar Wright creates an original plot and setting by connecting the glamor of the 1960s to modern day through a murder mystery and ghost tale. The movie does a wonderful job at bringing the 1960s alive and peaking the viewer's interest in the mystery. Anya Taylor-Joy steals the show as Sandie, and is accompanied by an amazing soundtrack. Unfortunately, there were enough faults with the movie to prevent it from reaching the level of quality in Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead or Anya Taylor-Joy's The Witch. The biggest problem is that the movie feels redundant towards the end, as the suspense and revelations of the past never reach a terrifying level. Another fault is that the climax of the film fails to reach its full potential due to poor character decisions and underutilized supernatural elements. But on the whole, Last Night in Soho is still an enjoyable film worth watching. 6/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Anya Taylor-Joy
+Amazing soundtrack
+Original plot
-Film gets repetitive towards the end
-The movie should have been scarier and more suspenseful
-Climax has its strong points, but also fails in some noticeable aspects.
Cry Macho (2021)
Decent Eastwood film weakened by screenplay and acting
If you watch Cry Macho expecting a classic like Million Dollar Baby or Gran Torino, you will be disappointed. However, Cry Macho still tells a quality story. It also needs to be said that regardless of the movie's imperfections, being able to direct and play the lead actor in a film at 91 years old is extremely impressive. First, there are numerous positive aspects to this film. Cry Macho beautifully depicts the deserts of Northern Mexico and uses the film's setting to its full advantage. Although many actors gave below average performances, it's always great to still see Clint Eastwood. Additionally, Macho the rooster provides a nice comic relief to the film and helps make the relationship between Clint Eastwood and Eduardo Minett more special. Ultimately, I enjoyed watching the relationship between these two develop.
Unfortunately, there are some pretty big flaws in this movie that can't be ignored. The screenwriting needed significant improvement. The movie fundamentally suffered from lacking a strong conflict. Eastwood and Minett are half-heartedly chased by some police officers and one bodyguard. This poor writing really weakens the climax, as there isn't an important conflict to resolve. The small amount of action is easily resolved without much fuss. Also, many of the film's actors give poor performances, including co-star Eduardo Minett. His acting was more on par with a daytime soap opera than a major motion picture.
Overall, Cry Macho is a decent film that Clint Eastwood fans will appreciate despite its clear flaws. 6/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Beautiful cinematography and setting
+Clint Eastwood
+Macho the rooster
-The screenplay is sub-par
-Acting could have been much better, especially Eduardo Minett
-The climax is disappointing, anti-climatic, and has quite a few plot holes.
Malignant (2021)
One of 2021's best horror movies
James Wan consistently creates quality horror movies. While Malignant is not quite good enough to be considered a future classic, it is still a good movie worth watching. The first half of this film is scary and suspenseful, in many ways it reminded me of James Wan's Lights Out (2016). The locations are creepy such as the Seattle Underground and the monster is very unique. All of the scenes create interesting developments to the plot, making the two hour runtime fly by. Unfortunately, there are some noticeable problems with the film. As the movie progresses into the second half, it becomes more of an action film as it loses the scares and suspense. The film can also be a bit ridiculous at times, with characters making traditionally dumb mistakes that one would expect in a horror movie. Additionally, most characters in the film are either forgettable or unlikeable. As much as I like Adam from Supernatural, his character in Malignant is excruciating to watch. Despite these problems, James Wan has created another good movie and any horror movie fan should watch this film. 7/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Scary and suspenseful first half
+Unique and interesting monster
+Fast paced
-Mediocre characters
-Second half loses the suspenseful tone of the first half
-The movie is a bit ridiculous at times.
Meet the Parents (2000)
Hard to sympathize with Greg Focker
Meet the Parents will make you laugh, however, there are many jokes that are either unfunny or cringeworthy. Much of the film's comedic value is due to Robert De Niro, who really steals the show. Most of the movie's cringe factor comes from the fact that Ben Stiller's character is hard to like. Many of the situations in the film are easily avoidable for anyone even remotely normal. For this reason, I do not find Meet the Parents to be as good as other Ben Stiller comedies such as Tropic Thunder, Zoolander, Night at the Museum, or Dodgeball. Meet the Parents still has funny moments and a sweet story that make it worth a single viewing, but there are enough significant flaws in the movie that prevent me from truly liking it. 5/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Robert De Niro
+A fair number of funny moments
+Sweet ending
-Many characters are irritating or unlikeable
-Some situations in the film are absurd and ridiculous
-People shouldn't be encouraged to get married to people they've known for less than a year.
Bruiser (2000)
The whiniest serial killer
This film is not one of George Romero's best. Anyone expecting to see a film of Night of the Living Dead's quality will be extremely disappointed. Bruiser focuses on an odd story of the whiniest serial killer of all time. The main character never misses an opportunity to remind the audience of how mean everyone is to him. Unfortunately, all of the other characters in this movie are equally or even more unlikeable. Even the dog is unlikeable!
Bruiser mainly distinguishes itself from other movies through the use of the white mask. Rather than being unique or interesting, this gimmick comes off as weird and dorky. It also gives Romero another opportunity to symbolize the dangers of not being seen or respected by society. While a few interesting murders happen throughout the film, it's not enough to make up for the unlikeable characters and weird plot. This movie is possibly the worst of Romero's distinguished career. 3/10
Pros and Cons Summary
+Some interesting deaths
+Professionally produced and directed
-Incredibly unlikeable characters
-The mask gimmick is dorky
-Bad pacing in the second half of the movie.
Charlie Butts In (1920)
Charlie's worst film
Charlie Chaplin ranks as one my favorite actors from the 20th century. Shoulder Arms is possibly the best World War I film produced during World War I, The Kid is one of the best '20s films, and The Great Dictator is one of the best '40s films. Unfortunately, Charlie Butts In does not uphold the standards of other Chaplin films. In fact, I'm not quite sure why this film was made as it is just alternative takes of a Chaplin film made a half-decade prior called A Night Out. The only people who should watch this film are people interested in saying that they have seen every single Charlie Chaplin film.
Pros and Cons Summary
+Charlie Chaplin
-The film is just rejected reels from A Night Out (1915)
-The editing often doesn't make sense, characters appear without proper introduction
-No quality jokes
-Chaplin's character is not likeable or memorable in this film.
