Only three episodes in, and totally hooked. The poignancy of watching knowing that Park BoGum was on the cusp of enlisting. The casting is excellent. Can't think of a single character yet who hasn't nailed their performance and made their character credible. The undertones are palpable and a sense of pending drama. Superb job.
No glamorous impossibly chic China Syndrome here. But people you can relate to, people who don't want to be heroes but choose that path anyway. Large box of tissues needed. Lee Kyong-Yeong has wicked politician down to an art. Kim Nam-Gil is, well just not words good enough, as Jae-Hyeok. I knew someone like that. So evocative. All actors were a credit. Thank you.
Irreverant, in the tradition of Airplane. It would be hard to describe without giving too much away. It's been in my to watch list for ages, because it was in Spanish and I needed the practice for my Duolingo. So glad I watched it in the end on a rainy dull day because the laughter lightened my mood.
