This is the first MCU movie in ten plus years that I have absolutely no desire to ever re-watch; simply put, it was dull with too many unnecessary plot elements and characters. I at least give kudos to Scar-Jo for not attempting a horrible Russian accent.
First off, if you're not a fan of Kevin Smith's previous work, then you really have no business watching this. If you ARE a Kevin Smith fan, this is like watching his version of Endgame. Callbacks? You got 'em. Hanging story threads paid off? Yup, got those, to. Fun from start to finish? You bet. There's also a very nice dedication at the end of the film. All in all, this was one of the best laughs I've had in awhile.
It's as though Billy Madison and the Waterboy took all the least likeable, least funny parts of themselves and spewed this out. Even Sandler's normal cadre of friends seem bored with this one. The only semi-relatable characters are the foster kids, who are far more mature than any of the adults in this film.
