This episode could been so good! A 10! But, it was marred by the drama that began at the end of episode 3. Ugh. Why!? Why not more emphasis on the miracle? Why not more emphasis on the sacred? It could've been so much more beautiful and truthful!
Just plan on fast forwarding through the drama that is not in the Bible and focusing on what is. That drama drags the story down and distracts completely from what is holy. You'll have a much better experience watching this episode if you skip the irrelevant drama.
Hopefully, the writers will get this fixed in Season 5. Take the focus off the make believe and put it back on Jesus snd His teachings where it belongs.

I have heard many times from Dallas that he and the writers go for plausible in their extra-biblical subplots. Unfortunately, this end of this episode fails that standard. Dramatically. It went too far...Way. Too. Far.
And, as could be expected, this decision understandably drove away fans. After this episode, fans started NOT showing up in the theaters. The box office for Episodes 7-8 was half what episodes 1-3 earned.
Dallas can justify this decision all he wants, but it was a bad, bad decision. And it's going to lead to a related subplot that I also believe is not plausible. (Pay attention in the next episode to what happens with a father.)
We all have to remember this is not the Bible. It's just an interpretation. I believe the series is still worth watching, but this episode has helped me to remember this-the Bible and its truth MUST come first. Sadly, in this instance, Dallas put Hollywood and Hollywood storytelling first, instead of focusing more on the precious teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
