Honestly, this film delivers so much in its originality of storytelling, the pacing with which it leads you on the journey with the characters and hands down the acting. Its rare that the relationship between a parent and child onscreen is showcased with realness and beauty without a heavy hand in trying to "make" the viewer feel something, but that is what happens. You simply get to watch the characters breath , and live on screen as the events unfold , making it feel real.
That realness also comes due to lead actress Erika Hamilton who plays the mom. Her presence, talent, and power keeps you in your seat connected to what she is connected to and fighting for. She alone is worth watching this film. Everyone in the cast shines.
All in all, its one that stays with you. The acting, the production, the visuals, all make this film authentic to its core.

The beauty of this film lies in the way the story is told , and the story itself. Not only is the writing which expresses a unique voice unapologetically, excellent , but so is the directing and acting! More than this , it manages to engage the viewer touching on serious topics without relying on over exploitation or the use of spectacle. The pacing with which it allows the story to unfold before the viewer is set in such a way that it submerges you in the reality of whats going on, with deep regard and respect for who's perspective we are actually seeing things from. I would say more but I do not want to give away the story. Please Watch. Its brilliantly done and so worthy. EXCELLENT!
