This is a rating for the first two seasons, Island and Action.
It took me a while to finish both of these and they were pretty pleasant to watch! I didn't really know what to expect going into this, but my expectations were succeeded!
There are likeable characters and some characters you will absolutely hate, giving 'drama' at its finest! And Chris is hilarious, he really makes the show.
The writing is unique in the sense of it's basically an animated reality show. It's something that is rarely ever done and it works!
However, I feel like some characters don't have great development (cough, Trent) and some plot lines aren't necessary. However, I'd recommend checking this one out! It's a pretty cool show.

I'd recommend doing anything over watching this terrible movie.
It felt like all the love of the original Ice Age movies had been sucked out of the franchise to make a cash-grab. The animation is lifeless, which no hate to the animators, but it's something that bugs me. The new characters are annoying and irrelevant. Crash and Eddie are very irritating and the villain, or well, 'antagonist', is pathetic.
Simon Pegg coming back for his role earns a star, but the script they give him to work with is so bad, it doesn't make up for how bad this movie is.
I wouldn't ever watch this again. There's other ways to spend your time, even watching paint dry would be more productive than watching this movie.

The Fandom was something in particular which made me put off watching this movie. I just wasn't sure what to expect. I've really been wanting to watch more animation though, so I decided to put it on and I was pleasantly surprised.
I didn't really have high expectations, not because I thought it'd be terrible but because I feared an underdeveloped plot. So when I saw this film, I was pretty outstanded. The animation seems to take an Aardman sort of turn - how I imagine their animation would be if they didn't do stop motion. This wasn't off-putting and was really enjoyable to watch! Luca, Alberto and Gullia were really enjoyable characters and I felt like the comedy was spread across evenly enough.
If I had to criticise it, I'd say Luca and Albertos introduction happened pretty fast which made it difficult to understand their bond at first, but it's easier to see later in the film. I'd also say Gullias character felt a bit all over the place at times, and some of the other characters seemed to just be... there. Loved Gullia's dad though, he was great.
It's not trying to be Pixars next big film, it's just a fun little film showing the friendship of 2 boys and honestly, I love it for what it is.
