First the CGI is terrible. It looks like an early 2000s video game. There is a scene with multiple large fires in the background and it was clearly a copy and paste job as the flames were all flickering the same way at the same time. The acting, JLO isn't great in general but my god did she really phone it in on this one. Simu is so talented and just was horrible. To their credit though, the script was awful. God awful dialogue, no depth. Honestly so laughable and cringy. Don't waste your time on this one. I would have given it 0/10 if that were possible. I honestly don't have a single good thing to say about this film.

I enjoyed this one a lot! Glen Powell proves once again that he is one of the most charismatic actors out there today and is obviously incredibly good looking. Sydney Sweeney just doesn't do it for me. She's gorgeous but her acting is just so bland and her voice is so monotonous that it's distracting. Despite that, their chemistry is still pretty good and the surrounding cast is excellent. The film doesn't hide the fact that it's a modern retelling of Much Ado About Nothing and for a modern retake it's pretty good. There were a few rom com cliches that make you wish they were a little more creative but over all if you like rom coms you'll like this one.

I really liked this short film, everything aspect was really well done except the frustration of not knowing why Marc was the way he was (understandably, as it's based on a true story and no one will know what Marc was thinking). Despite having mental health issues myself, I could not empathize with his self sabotaging behavior and that took me out of the film a bit.

It's well worth the watch still - the cinematography was gorgeous, the acting from all (but especially the young man playing Marc) was great and the directing was on point. It's only 30 minutes so there really isn't much of an excuse not to watch it lol.
