This spin-off series is absolutely what we've been waiting for! It's hilarious, witty and entertaining, laugh out loud in pretty much every single scene and situation! I adore Amanda in this! I find her relatable, and embracing! She's so funny and comical! I love the new character too! So interesting and dimensional! I will be rewatching this again and again just like I have done with Motherland! Amanda is even more funny and hilarious in this spin-off! She's always been one of my favourites in the original show and in so happy they made this much needed show! It's really brightened my gloomy February and brought some much loved joy and warmth to it! Thank you!
This film is unique, in many ways, reflects a young woman who we all think we know. But after watching this new Netflix film called blonde I think we have literally no idea who Marilyn Monroe really is or was.
Ana de Armas playing Marilyn Monroe, is one of the most greatest talents I have seen in a very long time, throughout the whole film, I thought I was watching Marilyn Monroe in every scene but I had to remember it was Ana de Armas. I felt very much for the character, and I felt an emptiness that she was trying to fill.
This film focuses on the aspect of trying to fulfil something she's longing for. Deeply moving and emotional, but what made the film for me was seeing Ana de Armas play Marilyn Monroe.

At last we see Daisy May Cooper at I believe her best ! Interesting, funny, powerful, moving emotional, and also hilarious! It has a little hidden gems of humour in this, which is what I absolutely love in a BBC programme, especially one star and Daisy May Cooper !
I am a massive fan of This Country, don't get me wrong this is certainly something very different, but Daisy May Cooper brings her humour to this program which is just brilliant to see and it's something that we wanted and needed from her ! I'll definitely be re-watching this again soon ! And I'm really hoping we get to see a second.
